Redhead’s Weight Story…
I’m 52 years old and I’m a firm believer that if you feel you look crappy on the outside, you are going to feel crappy on the inside. Of course, it goes the other way too. If you feel crappy on the inside, it’s going to show on the outside.
With that being said, the 2020 pandemic scared me. It brought out severe anxiety, and even a little depression. I felt so unstable, and food helped me, and my family feel better for months (homemade pies, cakes, cookies, bagels, etc.). Last January, I had reached my highest weight ever except when I was pregnant. It was frustrating because 11 months prior I had reached my happy weight, and even had my cesarean “flap” taken care of which had been on my mind for 22 years. I was right where I wanted to be, and BOOM. The Pandemic hit, and I was scared for my family…especially our oldest whom has autoimmune disease.
I realize I’m not J Lo 😆. I’m not a movie star, I’m not rich, and I don’t have access to everything famous people have access to. I’m just a mom, married almost 30 years to the love of my life, and I just want to be at my best because it makes me feel good. When I feel good, it helps my family feel good. My best may not be perfect (it’s okay to have white legs with uneven texture!), but at 52 I feel I look fantastic now, and I want to share all the things that have helped me in hopes that maybe Redhead’s Weight Loss Tips & Recipes can help others.
