My New Favorite Kitchen Gadgets for Organizing a Small Kitchen

Facebooktwitterpinterestmail

I have very exciting news! The lovely new apartment community we live in has invited me (eek!) to contribute to their monthly newsletter. So now, our fellow neighbors can benefit from signing up to redheadcandecorate.com utilizing all the helpful creative ideas I try here in our very own apartment just like theirs. This has inspired me to dig deep, and think about what folks need the most to help them feel happier in their space no matter where they live.

This first month I decided to focus in on organization. Having a tidy space is a key component to decorating because if it’s too messy, all the decorating gets over shadowed. Let’s get started with “My New Favorite Kitchen Gadgets for Organizing a Small Kitchen”…

STRONG MAGNETIC SHELF

Our daughter gets all the credit for finding these very strong MAGNETIC SHELVES for the side of both of our apartment fridges (our grown kiddos live down the hall). Whoo hoo, now I can grab my spices quick again! If you recall, in our house my husband and I created a beautiful DIY wooden spice rack above our cooktop. This is like a little mini version, only on our fridge ♥️ ! Oh wait…I get the credit for the very strong MAGNETIC HOOKS above the shelf to hang my favorite utensils I use the most. These hooks are very very strong and are perfect to hold heavy utensils, tools, or even Christmas stockings on a metal door like I did last month!

TOWEL RACK FOR CABINET

Here’s a super easy TOWEL RACK above to help organize a small kitchen that I added to our kitchen and my bathroom (my husband has his own bathroom now 🙌🏻). It goes over your cupboard, or over the “fake cupboard” easily so you always have that towel handy. Best part is, they come in a pack of 2, and they are 50% off right now.

DISH RACK/PRODUCE DRYER/POT TRIVET

My husband, Rick ❤️, Rocks! Here’s a neat DRYING RACK above he ordered for help when organizing our small kitchen (I couldn’t get over that he ordered a drying rack for us). I absolutely love how it “rolls up” so you can adjust the size, and it doesn’t take up the counter here at the apartment. I also use it to wash/dry my produce, and it’s a convenient location to put my hot pots. This is very popular on my Facebook page right now. I hope you are following over there, and you try one.

Stay tuned for the gorgeous Valentine’s Day wreath up next!

I got the towel rack sometime last year and have been using it faithfully ever since- works great! The dish/produce rack is definitely going on my list. I’ve been looking for one that stores easy, thank you. Always something to learn or be inspired by on your site!
