Who I Work Out with Daily in My Living Room

Facebooktwitterpinterestmail

It’s that time of year when many folks are trying to get back in shape for the warm months ahead. My husband and I are looking forward to a vacation to our favorite beach, so we are in LOSE WEIGHT MODE. We are eating healthier than normal, and watching our calories very closely so that there is a daily deficit. We are also exercising DAILY to increase that space between calories in, and calories out. Here’s a quick post to tell you “Who I Work Out with Daily in My Living Room”. I hope this helps you like it has helped me.

TIP: My New Chic Private Bathroom Dressing Room is coming up Saturday, then our Soothing Summer Botanical Balcony the first week of May 🤩

Always consult your doctor before trying any exercise workout.

Here I am yesterday right after I worked out-please don’t pay any attention to my t shirt. My husband got it for me as a joke, we both have one-ha ha.

How I Found My New Workout

I’m 53 now, and weight does not come off easy 😖. I find the only way I actually lose weight (even if it’s only 5 pounds which can be harder than 100 because of different metabolism rates/fitness levels, etc.) is if I combine a daily calorie deficit, and a daily workout. That sounds excruciating, but I have some very low calorie satisfying recipes I use, and I recently found my new workout partner who I get together with DAILY right in my tiny apartment living room and work out!

When we moved into our temporary apartment last September winter came quickly. We have a nice gym that we all go to often, however a few weeks ago I came across “Petra” when she was in a Facebook reel showing how she got her arms slimmed down. I decided to try her YouTube video right on my TV in our living room. I was addicted instantly.

I light candles and make it “me time”. I feel this relieves so much anxiety, too.

What I like about Petra’s videos is that they are not crazy difficult (perfect for any age including 50 and up), and she doesn’t talk 😆. I know that sounds funny, but seriously she doesn’t say but hello in the beginning and then she plays the perfect workout music. You can see in the photo above how there’s a small photo where she shows what move is up next. Another great thing is that she has many to choose from so you can start off slow, with a 10 minute video, or dive right into a longer full body workout that’s done in 20. Sometimes I do more than one!

I’ve seen a huge difference in my muscle tone FAST and I’ve lost beyond the five pounds I wanted to in just a few weeks. I hope you give Petra a try, her information is below…

Thanks so much for sharing these! I looked at one (the first one that came up was for menopause belly, lol 😂) and it looked very doable, reminds me of the aerobic routines I did years ago. I appreciate the no talking! Need to check out your recipes! I am in an online weight loss group and my weight loss has pretty much plateaued so I need to step up my game. Thanks so much!
