My husband and I joke about how I have absolutely no Italian blood in me, and he has no Polish blood in him.  To our surprise…we recently found out that our ancestors may have been a little of both 😯 !  No wonder we’ve been happily married for almost 25 years!  Not that you have to be the same ethnicity to be happily married…trust me, we are different across the board.  However, finding this out makes me feel like an Italian expert now  😉 .  This Italian expert has 13 Italian Recipes Mom Makes for you…and Mom really did make these.  Okay, maybe not my Mom, but “The Cooking Housewives” are all moms and they are the ones that made these Italian recipes…so there.  Godere!!! 13 Italian Recipes Mom Makes

As explained in the original article, I stated that my husband and I formulated (recreated) “Chicken Loretta” as best as we could from memory.  We were shocked to learn that her recipe is actually slightly different.  After careful consideration, I am not altering our “Chicken Loretta” recipe.  The reason being…this chicken recipe is a huge hit.  In fact, it’s been made by hundreds of my readers.  It’s also been viewed over 112,000 times!  I’m also still giving Aunt Loretta all of the credit because we wouldn’t have made-up the recipe without her feeding us her chicken.  Oh, and the name “Loretta” of course.
