12 Gorgeous DIY Potted Plant Ideas

I feel as though I could possibly jump inside my big flower pot urn in our garage and sprout some flowers myself pretty soon 😯 .  Yep, it’s true!  We need warmth and sun so bad up here in Michigan I swear I can hear the tulips screaming for help.  I know it’s getting closer, but boy it sure is late this year.  I’ve even looked 15 days out at the forecast and it’s still only getting to the low 50’s.  So, I guess that leaves me (and possibly you depending on where you live) lots of time to search for cool ideas for our flower pots this year.  I’m always trying to think of new ways to display flowers, so this post comes at a perfect time.  Now, although you may have seen my “DIY Candelabra Flower Planter” before (or maybe you haven’t 😀 ) I’m thinking it’s possible you haven’t seen the 11 other potted flower ideas from my blog pals in the DIY Housewives series.  Either way, be sure to scroll down all the way to the very tippy toe bottom so you don’t miss anything.  Oh, and so you REALLY DON’T MISS ANYTHING, I would love it if you would SUBSCRIBE HERE because our master bathroom reveal is in full swing!

12 Gorgeous DIY Potted Plant Ideas

This candelabra flower pot project absolutely amazed me when it worked out.  You may be surprised at how I figured out that the ceiling fan shades fit on top of the candelabra.  It was like they were meant to be.  It’s not only gorgeous, it’s very versatile.  At first, I filled the little pots with soil, and planted my favorite flowers.  Then I decided to empty the pots and add water and lilacs.  Then, I went back to soil and filled them with basil plants.  This baby really has had some fun over the years.  Remember when it was featured in that magazine?  CLICK HERE TO SEE.

    I couldn’t believe we got snow last night, I had to get out my winter coat that I was almost getting ready to put away for the winter. I absolutely love your creativeness with the candelabra. You are so inspiring!! I am going to be on the lookout for one!

    All very stunning planter ideas but I really admire that Candelabra Flower Planter.
    Having beautiful weather here in Texas. my pepper and tomatoes plants are blooming and have strawberries setting on; still green yet but won’t be long before the berries will be turning red; :}
    Mowed the yard today and done some work outside.
    It’s been a bit chilly but warms up in afternoon; up in the 70’s.

    Your candelabra planter is gorgeous. I’m always interested in unusual planters and vases. Do you know where I can buy the 2018 edition of the Flea Market outdoors magazine or is it available yet? I checked on Amazon, but it was not available. Thank you

      The issue my candelabra is in is from June 2015. Are you searching for that one specifically, or are you interested in this seasons? I bought mine at CVS.
