It’s been almost 10 years 刻since we hung our very popular fancy chandelier pendant light fixtures in our kitchen.  I NEVER would have thought that I would want to change them, but guess what?  I wanted to change them.  What can I say, except that our style evolves over time and you just gotta go with it.  I’ve taken a turn towards a more modern, less fancy style and I’m just going to ride that ship for a while and see where we sail.  Speaking of sails…I’m having one.  A “sale” that is.  I’m selling these 2 chandelier pendant light fixtures in the photo below for one great price to one interested buyer (please e-mail Julie at redheadcandecorate@live.com if interested).  Until then, lets take a look at the “New Kitchen Glass Pendants”…and since Christmas is 10 days away, I’m including a “Mini-Kitchen Christmas Tour” as well.
I’m going to let you take a look, and then I’ll meet you down at the bottom. Â Have fun, I poured us a cocktail.
What do you think of those new glass pendant light fixtures? Â I was worried they were too big for the space đ , but boy was I worried for no reason. Â They fit like Santa’s white glove! Â I am in love with them. Â I have no complaints whatsoever, and actually should have done this a couple years ago. Â They really add such a modern flare to the space. Â FYI, I found the “City Glass Pendants” at Pottery Barn on sale. Â I do not believe they are on sale right now, but I bet you could find a coupon. Â They were not cheap, but well worth the price. Â They come with instructions on how to clean them, and I haven’t had to yet which is a good sign because it’s been about 2 months.
Below you will find some very similar glass pendant light fixtures that you can order on-line if you are interested in this style. Â There’s also one that I came very close to getting and it was cheaper than this one.

I love the new ones so much. Your kitchen is gorgeous.
Hi Linda! And thank you!!
Actually I like them both but must say; I do like the more modern look of your new fixtures.
Perfect addition to your kitchen
Thank you, Colleen!! ?
Yes like the new look and would take the one you got over the ones shown! Your kitchen is big to handle the larger size pendant. So did Christmas come early for you????? ha MERRY CHRISTMAS to you/family……
Ha ha! No they are just for upgrades. ?
Love what you changed your to. The first were adorable but I love what you did to update them. It fits with the changes you have made. Love your decorations. Merry Christmas! Kitty is cute too, hope both babies are getting on well!
They are getting along great, Kyle!! Although the little one likes to play more.
The new ones look great and modern, your taste is great.
But I am so into all that sparkles….I loved the old ones.
I hope you find another place to display them.
Can’t wait to see where!
Hey girl, no they are for sale. I canât find a spot for them unfortunately.
Love the new fixtures. The old ones were pretty, but distracting. The more modern look allows the eye to see the other details of your kitchen rather than the old lights that drew your eye away from everything else. We all need a change sometimes. Good choice.
Completely agree!! Nicely explained ?
Love your new pendants. Plus easier to clean
Thank you, Stephanie!
Do the new lights give off more or less light than your old ones?
The same w same bulbs.
I love your new glass pendants. I especially like the bulbs you have used!
Thank you, Vickie! I love those bulbs, too!
Hi there,
I remember you posted about your new gas stovetop. You said in the post to get a particular kind because it is much easier to keep clean. Could you share that with me again? And what brand did you purchase?
Thank you,
Beth
Get stainless steel, Beth! Itâs super easy to clean. Iâm having an issue w my burner so I donât want to recommend the one I got.
PS. Your house looks fabulous!!!
Oooh love the new light fixtures,so chic. Think they go very well with your kitchen.

Love the new light fixtures! But that brings up an excellent question; what is the best way to clean them without leaving smears or a film?
Made a great choice there Julie.?Yes our style does evolve.I think you will get some mileage out these lights. Your kitchen area looks lovely. I would love to have that much space in my kitchen.
Hey, it’s been a while since I go an email from you. However, because everything you do is drop dead gorgeous, I love your old light fixture, but like everyone see, I love tge new ones even better. Nicely done! Have a Merry Christmas.
