Redhead's Gorgeous 12 Foot Flocked Christmas Tree Tour

Here we are nearing another year’s end, and I am excited to be sharing our 2025 personal Christmas home tour with you. I admit, I have slowed down a bit with the dramatic decor (see some of that drama at the very end of this post), but this year’s Christmas tree is actually the largest Christmas tree we have ever had 😲! I took a huge risk ordering this beautiful creature on line, and I am so delighted that I did because now you know without taking the risk yourself. To be completely transparent, I almost left the tree naked because it is THAT beautiful. I will share all the details below, including where to purchase this “Gorgeous 12 Foot Flocked Christmas Tree” for yourself (fyi it comes in smaller sizes, too). Let’s get to it, come on in…

Our grown kiddos, and my dad, and sister came over for Thanksgiving dinner, and they all said the same thing as they walked in…the photos I sent to them of the tree didn’t capture how big it is. So…with that being said, I hope you can tell in these photos how grand this 12 foot flocked Christmas tree truly is. Below I included a photo with my handsome 5’9″ husband on a ladder just to prove it….little Rosie is there too, just to make sure you get the full effect 😊.

Not bad for no fluffing yet!

Assembling and Fluffing the 12 Foot Flocked Christmas Tree

First let me tell you, I searched many hours on line for this tree…probably a bit too many because I saw this one early on, and wimped out. Hours later, I finally just went for it, and decided on the 12 foot flocked version because I knew it would compliment our “open concept” home with the two story windows. We needed something grand to take our eyes all the way up to the tall ceilings. I honestly didn’t realize how tall 12 feet was, but I sure know now 😆. Check this out…

I use feather boas on the mantel for snow, and a thrifted long white scarf on the table under the television.

This tree is so flippin’ beautiful during the daytime with the light from the windows casting it’s glory on the flocking. I mentioned earlier that I contemplated just leaving it “bare” because it resembles a real evergreen after a fresh snowfall. One of my friends mentioned that it looks like it is outside, and I totally agree.

TIP: We used 2 screws in the window framing and wire to secure the tree up top to the wall.

This tree has many options for light colors/blinking and you just step on the button provided with the single cord operation. We prefer the warm light option, but our son loves the multi colored.

As far as assembly and fluffing, there’s really not a lot to say except it couldn’t have been any easier. Of course there is time and patience, but as large as this tree is we had no issues with putting the three pieces together (they literally snap together and there is no messy cords to deal whatsoever. NO CORDS…I had to repeat that. The flocking did get on the floor, and our cat was interested at first, but then got bored. It vacuumed up easily, and does not shed after up. We are fortunate that Rosie, the kitty, doesn’t care about the tree. As for fluffing, it took about 1.5 hours total to get that done (12 foot ladder required), and get the tree secured to the wall.

Decorating the 12 Foot Flocked Christmas Tree

I decided to go very light with the decor on the tree because it just doesn’t need it. I stuck with glass and dollar store plastic icicles, ornaments, and a star that I made homemade with two dollar store stars wired together onto a thin dowel that my husband was able to stick into the tree.

The best part about the tree is that we have beautiful sunsets behind it and even a snowstorm hit last week!

Before I go get cozy with my favorite guy, I wanted to show you how I used the thrift store black ice skates from many years ago…I draped them on our stair railing, and I don’t have photos yet, but added big paper snow flakes to the spindles, and white feather boas to the bottom railing to resemble fresh snow. I will share our Thanksgiving photo below before I finished it….
