If you’re a long time redheadcandecorate.com subscriber you may have noticed this year’s “Let it Snow Inside Christmas Tour 2023” is extremely late, but I think worth the wait ๐! There isn’t even one tiny snow flake out there today which is actually the first day of winter, but it is certainly cold enough. Soon, I know the sky will be shedding flakes of snow, and my desire for the big white furry beauties will be fulfilled. Until then, I decorated our temporary apartment with a snowy white Christmas theme hoping to put you in the mood for Santa…. Merry Christmas everyone, and I hope you enjoy this year’s Christmas tour. I’m most certain next year’s tour will be in our new house!
My Inspiration Photo for Christmas Tour 2023
Before we get to the show, let’s get to the snow โ๏ธ ! This photo below was taken from our side porch at the old house I believe on Christmas Day in 2017. The bare trees with the snowy backdrop will always take me back to the days when our family was younger. So, when I began to think about what I wanted to use to decorate with this year, I dug deep and this photo came to mind. Lucky for me, I had a lovely printing company reach out to me asking if I would like to try one of their poster products. I knew this was perfect timing for that huge wall I had to fill over our sofa. I sure hope you were able to catch that beautiful “Fall Forest Mural” a few weeks ago.
Magnetic Poster Frames
Here’s that huge wall I’m referring to over our sofa…it’s quite large and when you live in an apartment there’s only so much you can do to the walls. If this was my house ๐, that wall would actually be painted charcoal but let’s focus on what I do have…one big white wall that I wanted to decorate easily and remove easily. So…I chose these gorgeous winter prints from PHOTOWALL.COM. I also decided on the wood magnetic hanging frames for the posters because now I can switch these out depending on the season. Notice the long snowy trees like my photo I showed you above? These hanging posters made the perfect backdrop not only for my Christmas tour, but the entire winter. Hmmmm…I wonder what I can put in them this spring?
Let it Snow Inside Christmas Tour 2023
I hope you enjoy the rest of the tour…I set the table for my husband and I because we enjoy eating here often watching our favorite shows or just putting the “fire” on the TV. I left a few sources under each photo if interested.
Merry Christmas from our home, to yours! It’s time for family~
