Facebooktwitterpinterestmail

Welcome to this years beautiful fresh Christmas Wreath Giveaway, with a special debut of our “Santa Themed Built In Shelves” coming straight from our kitchen. Let’s take a little sneaky tour of the Santa shelves first, and then I will fill you in on how easy it is to enter the wreath giveaway.

So, when you first enter our kitchen this is the first built in shelf you will see to your left…

Santa Themed Built In Shelves

One of the reasons I was so darn smitten when we first looked at this house, was the built in shelving units that surround both the kitchen fireplace, and our front living room fireplace. What’s really cool is that the shelves are actually back-to-back because the fireplace flues run side by side. In other words, when you look at the shelving unit above (there’s actually 2 in that room) you can imagine one just like it on the adjacent side in the living room. I guess you could say I have my hands full with shelves 😳.

Here’s the shelf again in the photo below, only slightly different (Maybe you can spot the changes I made?). I actually decorated/photographed this shelf last year, but kept most of the decor up all year long because I loved the vintage Christmas theme so much. You’ll be seeing it yet again in this years Holiday Housewalk coming up for me on November 30th (subscribe here so you don’t miss it). If you want to see last years “Silver & Gold Christmas Tour” just click here.

Photo taken last year from our 2020 Holiday Housewalk Tour.

Here’s a look up close to see mostly everything I used to decorate the shelves with…I tried to keep it all white & red to really bring out the Santa theme.

The birch tree limbs are from our front yard (I got lucky they usually don’t fall), and the carved wooden deer was my moms. It has sparkly blue eyes I use to admire as a little girl. My mom would set the deer right on a shelf by our front door. Isn’t it amazing some of the things you can remember and how it takes you back. Before I forget, the “Don’t Get Your Tinsel in a Tangle” sign is from Michael’s a few years ago. I couldn’t resist it because if you know me, I get my tinsel in a tangle often. I am a redhead so watch out 😆.

Speaking of redheads…you know Santa was a redhead, right?

This very old vintage Santa was my mom’s as well. It was one of my most favorite items to play with as a little girl when I would decorate the house for Christmas with my Dad. I was always the one who got to fill the Santa bag with candy canes. This old Santa looks like ceramic, but actually it’s made out of a light paper product. Oh, and our sweet daughter gave me the “Julie’s Kitchen” sign for Christmas a couple years ago. It was so thoughtful of her, and I she’s right, it is my kitchen 😉.

Stay tuned because I’m sharing the other built in shelf on the other side of the fireplace in this years Holiday Housewalk coming up on November 30, 2021. Until then, let’s get you signed up for the wreath giveaway, and as a nice bonus, you’ll get the Holiday Housewalk tour in your e-mail in-box, too 😊.

How to Enter Lynch Creek Farm Wreath Giveaway:

Just look at this gorgeous wreath From Lynch Creek Farms. Doesn’t it look cute on our pantry door? Every time I open the door which is quite often, I get a nice big whiff of the glorious Cedar and Pine. I never thought about putting it in our kitchen before, but happy I tried it. Now I get to enjoy the wreath instead of the UPS person 😉.
