Welcome to this year’s Halloween post ๐ which is called “Add Big Skeletons to the Porch for a Fun Halloween Treat”. If you follow along here at redheadcandecorate.com, you know that I really did up our front porch for fall this year. Holy moly it really turned some {cabbage} heads! Well, since then some of our mums have faded, so I decided to switch things up for Halloween. I hope you’re in the mood to get SP๐KED!

How to Add Big Skeletons to the Porch
Don’t worry, I won’t get too scary I promise. In fact, I kept it strictly G rated and it only took me a few minutes to transform all the beautiful mums and cabbage into a perfect stage for our trick-or-treaters.
First, I removed all of the faded (almost dead) mums so we can plant them in our yard. Then by placing 2 large skeletons out there (they are both wired to the pillars) on each side with fun poses, it turned into a Halloween bash. Rock on, Dude!

I sure hope we have trick-or-treaters this year, how about you? I’ll probably just make up a few individual treat bags to help keep it germ free.
I’m also going to make a mental note for next year on how long the ornamental cabbage lasted compared to the mums. They still look so gorgeous, and I even put one in our window box…did you see it yet? If not click here: FALL ORNAMENTAL CABBAGE WINDOW BOX.
By the way, I did not remove the skeleton’s hand or head, they just happen to fall off in storage, so I made the best of it ๐. They seriously do not seem to mind.

So, what do you think? Will you add big skeletons to the porch for a fun Halloween treat?
Happy Halloween, from redheadcandecorate.com.
