Nothing brings me greater joy & peace in the decorating world than repurposing does. First, the thrill of the hunt for something thrifty (sometimes I like to search my basement or closets first). Then, the brainstorming. That’s the REALLY fun part for me. It actually relaxes me, and takes me to a different world. I do my best brainstorming in the shower, in the car while driving, and right before I fall asleep. I try to think outside the box and figure out ways to use the thrifted or old item that will be useful and/or decorative in our home. Lastly, the actually transformation can be just as exciting. Not everything works out the way you planned 😯 , but that’s okay. At least we tried, and will keep trying. I hope you are inspired to try repurposing after you read about our “Top 10 Repurposed Projects” from the “All Things Creative Team”…
First, here is my latest repurposed project. You won’t believe what I put in the drawer to make this happen. So, you’re actually getting a 2 for 1 repurposing project here:

Here’s the remaining repurposed projects from my gals from the blog team. Please let me know which one is your favorite, and don’t forget to pin it if you can.

Love your nightstand makeover Julie!
Hi Julie,
You are the most creative person I know. You inspire me to look around and see beyond for creating something I have found at a resale store of even what I already have at home.
You definitely have a gift, I love all of your creations above but especially your nightstand.
Thanks for sharing, Ann
You are too sweet to me, Ann. But I am keeping those sweet words. Thank you!!!
Love the nightstand and magazine rack !!!!
Me too, Linda! Thanks for stopping by XO ~ Julie
Great make-overs and wonderful inspiration done by all.
I’m still in love with that nightstand planter tho especially with that cute( Mr. Rusty Toes ) frog sitting on top………..still sitting and hasn’t crocked once. :}
Love the magazine stand planter as well.
Shoot; they’re All great.
Colleen the impatiens have exploded. They are about to eat Mr. Rusty Toes ?
OMG how creative! LOVE it – too bad I’m not into tennis as that endtable is just adorable!! You go girl!! =)
I have found myself very fond of your TV tray makeover because I happen to need one! The only way I can choose a favourite after I got over my snit for being ineligible for the vintage lights giveaway just because I happen to be Canadian, bwahahaha. Very good ideas as I usually expect from your site. Visions are dancing without the sugar fairies. Enjoy your summer.
I know, Linda! I wish the postal rates weren’t so high!
Love your ideas. Look forward everyday to see your beautiful creations. God Bless.
Love the nightstand – planter make over. That tie tent os way cool. Thanks for sharing. Have a blessed day.??
Thanks, Rhonda!?
I adore the nightstand/planter. Such a creative idea and makes the front porch look so fresh and inviting.
Fabulous! I love everything about this. Wow, you are talent.
I must say; I do love seeing everyone’s make overs and just seeing how everyone’s mind works.
Now, if I just knew what to do with my old microwave. Wanted to turn it into a mailbox but hubby didn’t think too much of that idea.
Any creative minds out there on what to do with a old, broken microwave. (the landfill is no option) (Oh, I do plan on removing all the electrical guts out of it)
Hmmmmm…totally stuck on this one. Will think about it though.
You are so talented!! Love all of these ideas. I’m a huge fan of repurposing.
Thank you, Heather!
