Exciting news! I’ve teamed up with The Home Depot to bring you guys the cutest Halloween project EVER. They call it the “Home Depot Workshop Virtual Party” where several DIY bloggers build a project that The Home Depot supplies, and then we all share our finished project here on our blogs.
Well, this year I’ll be creating a “Seasonal Character Door Hanger” for Halloween. The best part is…you can make your very own at your local Home Depot! Here are some adorable samples…
You see, The Home Depot Offers Workshops at all of their locations for do-it-yourselfers of all ages, and experience levels. There are three types of Workshops offered-
Do-It-Yourself (DIY)
Do-It-Herself (DIH)
Kids
Participants can learn how to build decor projects, how to make easy home repairs, and how to operate tools through demonstration and step-by-step instructions.
You can register for the DIY workshop at your Local Home Depot right now!
Click HERE to enter your zip code and to find out the times it is offered in your area.
Meanwhile…meet me back here on October 17th when I reveal my “Seasonal Character Door Hanger” and I’ll also include a full tutorial. Here is a sneak peak:
I know, I know…but wait until you see the finished product. It turned out so cute. See you back here on October 17th. Subscribe here so you don’t miss it.

So excited! Found this “Do it Herself” workshop at my local Home Depot! I’m registered and can’t wait for this workshop! Thank you Julie for sharing this info!
That is awesome, Kathy! Have fun!! ~ Julie
I too am going to go take part in workshop, sure glad you reminded us. Think will be fun to go, be able to make something without hubs directing every move I make. Guess could say he’s bit of control freak, (to say the least).
Wish had signed up for making that cute little garden cart. Not going to let myself be talked out of it this time.
Want to see what you made.
Have awesome fall week
Ohhh! Have a great time, Jane Ellen!! Let me know which one you make. ~ Julie
