This time of year gets so busy for people. With back to school, fall sports and the holidays coming up, keeping things simple at home is how you can keep yourself organized and stress-free in the next few months. I like to do easy holiday crafts and decorating so I can create a festive, seasonal home, but still enjoy all the wonderful things these few months offer.
Here are a few projects I wanted to share with you. Maybe you’ll get some decorating ideas from them yourself!
Holiday Table Runner
This is one project you can do that will look good in your home from October through January. All you need is some fabric, shaped painters tape, and paint. I made this one with a gold trim and love it so much I might make more in other colors. Read how to make a Holiday Table Runner here.
Glitter Pine Cones
A perfect decorating element for fall is pine cones. If you are lucky you can even pick them up outside for free. If you like a bit of glam in your home, add some glitter to the tips of the cones and bring some shine to a table or mantel. Read How to Make Glitter Pine Cones here.
Cork Leaf Trivets
Of course fall is all about leaves and these cork trivets will be a welcome and useful addition to your table. Pick up some cork at the craft store and cut out any shapes you like. They can be used under plates, to hold warm containers of food or just as cute table decorations. See how to make Cork Leaf Trivits here.
I look forward to seeing you next month for holiday decorating ideas. Until then, come visit me at Decor Adventures soon!
