DIY Lemon & Lime Daisy Centerpiece

Facebooktwitterpinterestmail

 June is crazy, isn’t it?

Between birthdays, weddings, graduations, field trips, kids exams, gardening, Spring cleaning, vacations…

Lets slow down, shall we?

I have a special weekend planned beginning with a visit from my oldest sister, Diane.

We call her Dido, and she makes the ribs I constantly pin here: Pinterest

She’s heading this way for our Mom’s 80th birthday 🙂

Should be very special!

If you have a special occasion this month,

maybe you could surprise your guests with this fun, and easy idea.

What do you think of this ” DIY Lemon & Lime Daisy Centerpiece”?

DIY Daisy Centerpeice

It’s so fresh, and cute.

Best of all, it took minutes to make.

You don’t have to use a wine glass.

You could use a clear vase, bowl, mason jar, or anything.

I actually tried a fish bowl, but it was too large.

Did you know that adding any acidic fruit into the water will keep the flowers fresh, longer?

It really works.

Lemon & Lime Daisy Arrangement

I used Daisies from a small plant I purchased at the grocery store.

I just clipped a few stems off and stuck them in the water after I placed my lemon & lime slices in.

Just be sure someone doesn’t mistake it for their cocktail.  😉

Here’s another pretty (and easy) idea…just place the daisies in a colorful bowl and let them float.

And one more…a couple years ago I used Daisies for our Easter table napkin rings.

 Oh dear…lookie here.

All this talk about Daisies…”Daisy”, my Mom’s cat decided to show up!

What a Daisy she is.

We rescued her, and both my Mom and Dad treat her just like a little baby.

Before I forget…I recently posted these glasses on my Facebook page.

You can find my Facebook page here: FACEBOOK PAGE

You can find these $1 glasses at the Dollar Store (hopefully they still have them).

Well…I have tons to do before my sister arrives, so I better get my booty in gear out of here.

I can’t go with out wishing my Mom a Happy 80th Birthday!

Happy 80th Birthday, Mom!!
