Inside the Magazine “Simply Shabbilicious” | Our Magazine Feature

I was a little under the weather yesterday, but managed to get outside for a photo shoot.

It was absolutely gorgeous here.

While I was out there, I heard the Fed Ex guy drive

 like a bat out of hell up to our front door.

Yippeee!

I completely forgot my printed issues were coming.

In case you didn’t hear, our bedroom made it into a magazine 🙂

If it seems like I’m boasting…I am!

It’s called “Simply Shabbilicious Magazine” and it’s by Kerryanne English who is based in Australia.

I ordered 2, one to push on people when they visit for my coffee table and one to send my sisters in New York.

I sent my sister, Diane, a photo of it by text yesterday and she wrote in capital letters:

“MY SISTER IS IN A MAGAZINE!!!!!!”

That made me feel very SPECIAL.

She has always been very supportive…my entire family has.

This feature actually came at a very good time in my blogging career.

I’ve worked tremendously hard for the past 2 1/2 years to develop the redheadcandecorate.com brand.

I’ve come very far, yet there’s still so many opportunities out there.

I feel I’m at a cross road, and haven’t yet decided my direction.

One thing is for sure though…

 The time and dedication I have put into redheadcandecorate.com has all been worth it.

I’ve learned so much about myself (and about others), and what I am capable of.

I think I’ve also proven to my family and friends how passionate I truly am about the things I love to do.

I’ve shown them that I have innate knowledge that is screaming to come out.

I just needed the push.

Most importantly, and above all else, our girls have learned to follow their dreams, as I did.

That means more to me than any of it.

They’ve watched me work hard and accomplish things I never knew I could.

They’ve watched me struggle at times, and even get knocked down a couple, only to see me get back up to try again.

They’ve also witnessed their Pop supporting me through it all.

All of these things could never be learned in a book, or on a computer.

They now know what is takes for a dream to become a reality.
