Midwestern Cape Cod Home Tour {Debbie Doo’s Home Tour}

Did you have a nice 4th of July?

We sure did, and there is a big mess from the fireworks in our street to prove it.  Totally worth it though.  Rick went all out this year and got fireworks that actually shoot up into the air.  Very exciting for the kids!

So, while I’m cleaning up, I would love for you to head on over to Debbie Doo’s to see our home tour.

Just click on the little house below.

To be invited to be amongst such beautiful homes is such an honor.

Debbie & I had a blast while she was here 😉

 We had tea (not really but we can pretend), and we even saw Dude do a couple tricks which you can see on my video!

Yep, I made you a 17 minute video that includes me taking you on a complete tour of our home.

I was really nervous, and it’s not perfect, but I think it will help you get to know me better.

    Love your home! I especially love how you have dark furniture. I’ve inherited almost all of my furniture and since it’s old, it’s dark wood. From what I can find online, it seems everyone only decorates with white and paints the furniture white or pale blue. It’s hard to find inspiration. I like contrasting with white and/or cream with a lot of color in my accessories.

    Thanks for the tour.

  2. Julie, I popped over to your site to thank you for sharing your beautiful home tour at Best of the Weekend! Will be sharing on our party board – have a wonderful weekend!

  3. Wow!! What a beautiful home. It’s perfect in every way. I’m in love with your kitchen! It’s my dream kitchen…I just love the contrast of the dark cabinets and the white. So dreamy. Ok I will go now and continue dreaming about it 🙂

    PS: Glad I found you on Best of the Weekend Party.

    Hi Julie! I just visited your home tour at Debbie’s and just absolutely fell in love with your home! Inviting and elegant and warm and…well, I love everything. I have a thing for gorgeous kitchens since I love to cook and I’m glad you shared so many beautiful outdoor pictures. We have a home in Southwestern Michigan on a lake, so I know just how much you must love getting outside summer or winter.

    I’m definitely going to follow your blog so I don’t miss any of your upcoming projects! 🙂

  7. Your home is gorgeous Julie! After looking at those pictures I feel a strong desire to stop working and go clean my house 🙂 Your house is totally immaculate!

  11. Julie, can I come and kidnap you for a week to help me makeover my house? I actually have my degree in interior design, but I’m just WAY too darn indecisive! I could use your great eye for style as a second opinion so maybe I’d finally move forward with some of my stalled projects! I just love everything in your home!

  12. Wow! You have such a gorgeous home. I love how you decorated it! 🙂
