You Asked For It, You Got It!

I thought I was all that and a bag of chips showing you guys my laundry room after I updated it a bit. Then…it hit me!
Comments were flowing in on how good the cabinets
would look if I painted them white.I couldn’t deny it any longer!!!!So…I got the handy dandy brush out and started painting them with some leftover paint from my kitchen cabinets. (I have a lot of leftovers)What do ya think???

I decided to distress them slightly with a knife and then I stopped at my local antique shop and found these gorgeous mercury glass knobs.  The only problem is they only had 4
so I had to find the rest on line.  Click here for more info!
I am very pleased with the change.
So much lighter and brighter.
Love the white with the wallpaper as well.Do me a favor…If you like the maple wood better…
a little “white” lie never hurt anyone :)Now bring on the laundry peeps!

I absolutely LOVE how you transformed the maple wood finish into THIS!!! We had so much of this wood finish throughout our entryway and living room & and we painted it all white, as well. It turned out to be a very controversial decision among family and friends. Everyone felt the need to tell us how beautiful all of that woodwork “was”… but, being an old home and the side of the house that gets nothing but shade it was such a great idea. Hubby & I love how it brightened everything right up. Plus decorations for the holidays seem to POP. I admire your guts!!!
