Curious about the covering over the recessed light – is it a new flush mount fixture or globe/fitting over existing recessed light? Love what you did – just gorgeous!
It fit over the existing.
From Home Depot by the way!
Just want to make sure I have this right. Did you sand the oil rubbed bronze handles down to reveal the copper finish? Because they are gorgeous and I might have to steal that idea!!!
That would be yes! It’s very easy, just use light sand paper and try one.
Love your bathroom! What color did you use to paint your vanity and the brand???
Thanks!
Hi, I love your ingenious style! For example, the way you modify things to improve them, like the handles on your new bathroom vanity. I would really like to know what color and brand of paint you used on your vanity.
Thank-you so much for the inspiration!
(Which I truly appreciate, because as much as my ideas for redecorating feel limitless my resources are definitely not!).
Thank you Ruth! The color is Expresso in satin from Behr Ultra (Home Depot). It as the primer in it. Goes on almost any cabinet. Good luck!
♥ it! Looks great!!!
Thank you, Clydia!
Lovely remodel! What did you use to paint the tub faucet and is it an easy process?
I used Rustoleum Spray Paint. Just tape everything off with newspaper or remove the faucet and put in card board box to spray outside. This faucet is never used, so it worked well. Not sure if it would work with a faucet that is used a lot.
Love the recessed light trim. We have lots of recessed lights and I’ve always disliked the way they look. Will have to check this out at The HD. Love the bathroom too! Thanks!
Hi there,
Your bathroom looks great! What Corian color did you go with?
I’m sorry, but we don’t have the color. I am so mad at myself for not writing it down! If you go to Home Depot (where we purchased this 3 years ago) they can match it.
What color are the walls and doors in the hall leading to the bathroom, I love the look of black doors and thinking about doing this, however not sure I have the nerve.
Looks like the Sandalwood counter from Corian. Very pretty! Your style is very much like my own, kind of cool since I’m a fellow ginger! Maybe we just have the right touch. Ha ha. Thanks for sharing!
