First I would like to share these recent pictures of some babies we have right in our back yard!!! Good timing guys!!!
Happy Mother’s Day to all of you wonderful, hardworking Mom’s out there. This means to all types of Mom’s, not just biological …
Sometimes Grandma’s, aunt’s, sister’s, etc. take on the role of Mom when she can’t be there. This goes to you too! Today I thought I would share some special photos from the past. Unfortunately, Mother’s Day is not a happy occasion for everyone especially if they have lost their Mom. My husband gave me the ok to share this lovely picture I framed for him after his Mom, Mary Ellen, passed away suddenly in 2010. We miss her very much. I can tell you that she raised the most selfless, compassionate, honest, loving, charming man I know… My husband, Richard. Happy Mother’s Day Mom C.! Rick and I have been blessed with 2 healthy, beautiful girls…

My favorite role in life is being a Mom to these girlies. I love
them so much it hurts. We are very close and I am enjoying this time in our lives while they mature into young women. I am so thankful for them both.
Here are some other very special photos of my Mom & Grandma’s…
And last…but certainly not least. My Mom. We came close to losing my Mom last Christmas…so very thankful that she has recovered and will celebrate her 78th in a couple weeks!
My Mom has never had an easy life.
Her biggest struggle being the loss of her only son, my Brother, Bobby. No one should have to suffer the loss of a child.
She has survived many struggles as well, I cherish this time we have together. Happy Mother’s Day Mom! Now if anyone is crying…like I know my Mom is, and probably my sister after reading this…I couldn’t leave you with out saying one more thing!
I wouldn’t have become a Mom without this handsome guy… Thanks Pop for making me a MOM! |
