I love stained glass windows and doors, but they are so expensive. I still needed some privacy so I had to figure something out for my doors. About 10 years ago I came across Gallery Glass at Michael’s and tried it in a bathroom window. I still miss that window! It is so easy, and beautiful. You can do any design…I used a ruler to get the distances equal here in our dining room exterior, side door.
Gallery Glass is inexpensive and goes on like paint. The leading comes in strips and you put that on first-that gives you plenty of time to figure out your design. There are a variety of colors. I prefer the crystal clear which goes on white, but dries like the look you see here. Everything becomes secure once you have painted on the clear with a small paint brush. It also goes on straight from the bottle which has a small tip to use to apply it. It is non-toxic and has no odor.
