Got to have bacon for Sunday breakfast, but we have a race to watch so I don’t want a greasy mess! I don’t remember where I learned this, but when we have guests visiting they are usually amazed that we can cook great bacon in the oven rather than on the stove with out any clean-up after. My favorite bacon is Oscar Meyer Center Cut in that convenient plastic container to store the left over uncooked bacon. It’s a bit more, but it is on sale regularly.

Set the oven for 400. Lay tinfoil on the cookie sheet, but only use one full piece to cover it, otherwise the grease will get through the seam (medium cookie sheet works best). Lay your bacon on the tin foil as close as possible, and bake about 15 min. depending on your preference.
Pull off and drain on paper towels just like Mom always taught us.
After the grease cools, I roll it up and wahlah! Mess is gone and no need to even wash the cookie sheet-it’s clean.
Gotta love it!
You would be surprised how many people have never cooked bacon this way. Guess what! You can cook eggs in the oven as well! I’ll explain that soon!
