Holy tatortots.
It’s time for “Redhead’s Kitchen w/ Potato Recipes.”
There’s 3 recipes this week, and I hope you try at least one.
Who doesn’t LOVE potatoes?
I probably eat too many of them, but I think if I had to pick my last meal…
it might be french fries.
Pass the ketchup Mama, it’s time to bake.
Lets face it…Mc D’s french fries are scrumptious.
They are also loaded with calories and fat.
My “Baked Fries” are good for you, and they are delicious.
Our girls gobble these up so fast.
I’ve been making them almost once a week it seems.
You can print this recipe for later here:
Ingredients
- 4 baking potatoes sliced with skin on (I slice in 1/2, then in 1/2 again until I get a french fry I like)
- olive oil
- Lawry's Seasoning Salt
- paprika
- pepper
Instructions
Preheat oven to 400.
Slice washed potatoes keeping skin on and soak in ice water for 15 minutes (don't skip the soak).
Dry with paper towels and place on cookie sheet.
Drizzle a little olive oil all over them.
Sprinkle a little Lawry's Seasoning Salt, paprika, and pepper on them.
Mix it all up with your hands, and bake at 400 for 45 minutes.
Serve hot or room temperature w/ a side of ketchup or ranch dressing.

You are going to ruin my healthy diet with these recipes Julie! Quit it! OK, don’t quit it, cause I might just have to make these 🙂
lol…the fries are healthy girl 😉
Thanks again for featuring us! That baked potato soup looks fantastic! Actually, so do the fries! Sharing:)
Thank you, Julie! It was my pleasure! You guys are an awesome team!
YUMMY!
All three look fantastic… which to make first… decisions decisions!!
I followed you over here from Debbie Doos (not sure if you see the comments on your post) because your fry recipe sounded so good. I usually bake fries (the frozen kind…yikes!!) but these look so easy and probably much better for you/us. I’ve pinned, (and I went over and pinned the Reeses Pieces cookie recipe too!) because even though they are easy, my memory isn’t what it used to be…haha. I enjoyed your post, thanks for sharing!
Debbie 🙂
Thank you, Debbie!
Mmm…I suddenly need carbs! Everything looks yummy!
Hi Jules! These look delish! I make something similar but I cut them into wedges and add some garlic, rosemary, cracked pepper, and a mixed up salt (and sometimes I throw in some other seasonings too like Montreal steak seasoning!). I can’t stop eating them when I make it. We all love them here!
Good job!! Love ? Amy Sue
