New York City & Meeting My Blog Friend In Person

By the time you are reading this, I’ll be home.

Sleeping.  Maybe even snoring.

Vacation is exhausting.

Especially, in New York City.

I don’t have any decor tips or recipes for you this week, but I do have some fun photos to share from our vacation.

As you can see we stayed way up high.

42 flights to be exact.

At first, I panicked and begged asked if we could get a lower level.

None existed.

I sucked it up, and decided to ignore my light head, and queasy belly.

It ended up working out just fine.

NYC is amazing.

We visited Freedom Tower, the 9/11 Memorials, and took a boat ride from Battery Park to the Statue of Liberty.

Freedom Tower is breath taking.

Visiting “Ground Zero” was an experience none of us will ever forget.

I had no idea how a cloudy day would make such beautiful photos.

This photo of the city’s skyline ‘s is from a cell phone.

Looks more like a post card.

We enjoyed wonderful food in Little Italy, amazing pizza, and also had dinner at Guy Fieri’s Restaurant.

It was fabulous.

Guy never showed, but that’s okay.

Time Square was a little over whelming, but our girls enjoyed the shopping and people watching.

New York City

After 4 nights in NYC, we  visited family and friends in Buffalo, NY.

One of the really special high lights was meeting a fellow blogger in person.

Jessica, from Decor Adventures stopped over with her husband.

They are the cutest couple.

Jessica is just as sweet and pretty in real life as she is in blog land.

A true friend indeed.

I’ll be back in shape soon.

I have tons of projects lined up for the rest of the Summer.

Time to get back to reality!

  1. Hi Julie – Looks like a fun trip! I love NYC for about 48 hours and then I need my suburban life back. If you are ever in DC let me know! Hugs, Holly
