Mother’s Day is May 10th this year and I have the perfect gift idea. I’m a little early, but I wanted to make sure you would have enough time to purchase one of these beautiful wall art pieces for Mom from my new favorite artist, Darren Gygi.
For years Darren Gygi’s artwork was only available to private collectors. Now, with the introduction of his “Home Collection”, all of us can enjoy his work in the privacy of our own homes.
I feel honored to have been invited by the Darren Gygi team to review my favorites from the “Darren Gygi Home Collection”. All opinions in this post are truly mine, and I have literally fallen in love with his line.
I’m also very excited to be giving you the opportunity to receive your very own Darren Gygi artwork! {see giveaway at bottom}
When visiting the “Darren Gygi Home Collection” on their website, I carefully sifted through all of the beautiful pieces to find my favorites. It was definitely not an easy decision.
What attracts me the most to his art, is the “rustic simplicity”.
The “Bunny” obviously stood out to me because of the Spring and Easter season approaching, but what also struck me were the colors. If you look closely, you will notice the slight pink in the bunny’s ears. That is something I search for when adding new bunnies to my collection.
It seems no matter where this bunny hops, he fits right in. Just look at that expression. I hope he’s happy here…
My second favorite being the “Daisy”. Not only because I love daisies, but because my Mom named her cat, Daisy. I plan on giving my Mom this one for Mother’s Day. Shhh.
Each canvas print is skillfully wrapped around a 1 inch thick wooden frame. The quality and workmanship is very apparent, especially when you see and touch the brush strokes that make it feel like an original painting. In fact, when my daughter came home from school and she saw it, she asked if I had just painted it. I only wish I had.
I could get lost inside this daisy…how about you? Every time I look, I see something new.
If you are interested in viewing the full collection, you can see it here: Darren Gygi Home Collection.
If you are interested in purchasing one for someone special, or for your own home, you can use their store locator to find the nearest dealer in your area, or you can also find his art work on Amazon.com.
My new “Bunny” wall art goes perfect with my bunny collection…
This giveaway is open to US residents only. You must be 18 years of age to participate. I will announce the lucky winner here on redheadcandecorate.com next Friday. The winner will receive 1 large 20×20 canvas of their choice.
Good luck!

Wow! What a great collection! While looking through the gallery, I thought, “Ooo, look at that sweet lamb and chick”. Then I thought how my daughter would love the picture of the saddle. Then I saw the grouping of scarecrows! I love them. I would choose one of those.
I looked through all the beautiful art! Wow, it was hard to pick but I think the Daffodil one was my favorite. I live in FL and they don’t grew here. So to me, it reminded me of growing up and springtime.
