Our girls are off!
Off to school that is…
I normally don’t post too much info about our girls…but if I don’t share what I witnessed this morning…
I might explode!
Both Daphne & Valerie were very nervous last night,
so I tried something different.
We watched a horror flick right before bed.
Sound nuts?
Most kids were probably in bed at 8pm while mine were still watching…well, I won’t get into specifics.
But I do think I will do it again next year because honestly it took their mind off school pretty well,
and both were gleaming this morning.
I was a little nervous for both of them until I came out to make breakfast and saw Daphne doing push ups on the kitchen floor!
She is so funny…
Then later when I had to get Val up she showed me a note that Daphne left by her sink. This is what is said:
“Good luck soldier!”
How cool is that? A sister giving her little sister some encouragement when in fact she is dealing with her own fears.
