Spray Paint Your Pendant Light! (Red Hot Tip #8)

This is so cool guys!!!

When we were doing our kitchen make over, I spent literally hours on line searching for the perfect pendant lights
for over our island.

I wanted something unique, and cheap…

I finally found what I was looking for.
When they arrived, Rick installed them.
 I loved them…
but only when they were off!

They were so darn bright when they were on because the glass globe was white.  Since they were already up what the heck could I do now????

Switching the light bulbs did nothing, ( had I known about vintage light bulbs back then from my sponsor Nostalgic Bulbs things could have been different)
so I decided to go with my first gut instinct!

Spray those babies!!!!
We sprayed them ever so lightly to give them a distressed look with some black spray paint. Then I decided to take a razor and make the lines which were very easy because the indentations were already there.
I fell in love with them instantly.  Rick was very relieved!
They are everything I wanted and more because no one else has them!  No more blinding light either.

Very unique!

Love,
Julie
