I can’t believe it, but it’s been 5 years since I created redheadcandecorate.com.  Those 5 years have been the fastest (and most exciting) years of my life.  Running a blog which is a small business takes an enormous amount of time & dedication.  Every single second has been worth it, and I wouldn’t trade it for anything.  Many thanks to my family, friends, and followers who have stood by me and watched me succeed, and sometimes fail.

What’s been most important to me, is that I inspire people to take risks in their home and find the courage to decorate their home the way that they desire without feeling pressured to follow what everyone else is doing.  I know for sure that I have accomplished that.  The other very important message I feel is important in my journey as a publisher, is to inspire my children to follow their passion(s).  I know for sure that I have done that as well, so if I stopped blogging tomorrow, I feel it has been a great success.

Stay tuned to the next 5 years full of many adventures including selling our home, and building/designing a new one.

So, let’s celebrate!  I’m giving away $100.00 cash to 1 US resident 18 years of age or older.  To enter, you must do these 3 things:

  1. Subscribe to Redhead Can Decorate by clicking HERE (it is free).
  2. Leave 1 comment below telling me your favorite project or recipe from redheadcandecorate.com
  3. Share this Giveaway with a friend by e-mail, word of mouth, or however it is easiest for you (I trust you on this one!)

Winner will be notified on March 24th by me.

(Update: Winner has been notified!)

GOOD LUCK!

Congratulations on the 5 year anniversary. I am a relatively new subscriber but love your decorating style, I love the mixing old with new and the thrifting adventures! My very favorite is a recent tablescape you created for Christmas using your mom’s scarf, something I would not have thought to do, it was so touching, a very special tribute to your mom and many moms that are no longer with us. Thanks for the wonderful blog.
