I counted how many faucets we have in our house yesterday and we have 9. That is just crazy. Who the heck needs 9 faucets? It may sound nice to have 9 faucets, but honestly, they can be expensive when you have to replace them. I am not a big spender when it comes to faucets for 2 reasons. 1. My style changes often. 2. I hate to spend $ on faucets 😆 So, today I am sharing with you, “My Favorite Faucets” because we just updated 2 of them. (All faucet direct links are high lighted under photos for you to click on if you are interested in finding out more product details & pricing.)
Here’s the first one we updated in our kitchen island prep sink. Let me tell you, this faucet rocks. I was worried it was going to be cheaply made because it’s not expensive, but I was so wrong. It’s very high quality and I need that here because we use this sink probably 25-50 times a day if not more. The faucet swivels and the water flow is perfect for washing our fruits and veggies.

Here’s the old one that we use to have here and it was way too big, especially when I wanted to drain my pasta. It got in the way.
The new one has two settings for water flow…
Pfister Pasadena Bar & Prep Faucet
It looks great up against our kitchen decor and I completely recommend it.
While we were updating our kitchen prep faucet, I decided to do the same in the laundry room because the one we had in there didn’t work at all, and didn’t even have hot water (eek). Now, I have this pull-out spray single handle chrome faucet that is great after I clean out paint brushes.
This doll has 2 water flow settings as well that are controlled by that black button on the top. I prefer the shiny chrome, but it comes in brushed chrome as well. I love how the chrome accentuates our mercury glass knobs.
Since we are chatting about faucets, I thought you may want to see some of the other faucets in our home.
Here’s our main kitchen faucet, and I still love it after 8 years.
Here’s our master bathroom faucet. My only complaint is that we don’t have 2 sinks in here. Oh well, it does leave me ample counter space which is nice.
Lastly, if you want to update a faucet, but don’t want to spend the money, you could always spray paint your faucet. I used this spray paint on our jacuzzi tub and it literally took only 2 coats. Just make sure you tape it off and surrounding areas perfectly with painters tape.
The spray painted faucet made it into Detroit Home Magazine. See full magazine spread HERE.
