We’re Julie and Maddie of Tastes of Lizzy T.

We’re a mother and daughter team who love to spend time creating together in the kitchen.

Our family has always dreamed of owning a restaurant. We dream of where the location would be, what food we’d serve, and what specialties we would feature for holidays .

Our blog is an extension of that dream. Our mission is to explore and create the best entrees, sides and desserts to put on our table and yours!

Wondering how we got the name of Lizzy T?

Read the story and find out more about us on our “About Me” page!

We’re excited for the opportunity to share with you one of our favorite recipes each month.

If you’re already following along with us, you’ll know that we love our peanut butter.

Our favorite combination of all is chocolate and peanut butter.

If you’re in need of a chocolate and peanut butter fix, we’ve got you covered with cookies, cakes and no-bake treats.

Peanut Butter Pudding Pie

Today we’re sharing with you a favorite of ours: Peanut Butter Pudding Pie.

I (Julie) grew up near Amish country and am completely in love with Amish cooking.

I never met an Amish dinner I didn’t like. It’s such comfort food!

This quick pie recipe comes from an old Amish cookbook that I got at our wedding shower.

What’s so great about this pie? It took us literally about 15 minutes to throw it together.

And it’s perfect for this time of year because it can be no-bake.

The crust on this pie is so versatile.

You can use a pre-baked pie shell (the quickest), a graham cracker crust, or even make a Nutter Butter crust using about 2 cups of crushed Nutter Butters and 4 tablespoons of melted butter.

Peanut Butter Pudding Pie

What we love about this pie is that there’s a peanut butter crumble inside the pie and on top.

We’re all about crumbly topping. The more, the better!
